Notes on TP: Before the title page there is a beautiful engraving most of which is missing from the Detroit copy. However the image is supplied from the Huntingdon library copy. Above is the allegorical figure of Germany, represented as a woman on either side of whom are ranged armies of heavy cavalry. Below her are two figures on either side of the title, on the left a Roman with plumes and staff of office and on the right a contemporary figure with shield and lance. Below both are sets of arms and in the centre at the bottom the publication details.
